I have sunken eyes and a lot of fat on my upper eyelids, so I got in-out incisional double eyelid surgery + fat removal + epicanthoplasty. It’ll soon be 3 months, but there is still redness on the incision line, so I’m a little worried. Even though I had fat removal, maybe because the structure itself is sunken eyes, there is still a visible step in the skin? But if I had to say what look I’m going for, it’s slightly obviously-done, soft bunny eyes when you look closely?.. lol So I don’t think that part bothers me much, and I really like the double eyelid line too. The biggest problem is the epicanthoplasty... I had a severe epicanthal fold only on my left eye, and none at all on my right eye, you know? My lacrimal caruncle was also quite visible. So for the epicanthoplasty, I requested that the right side be opened only minimally and the left side have the epicanthal fold removed. But after surgery and after the swelling went down, the left side was no different from before surgery, the epicanthal fold was still there, only the lacrimal caruncle became more visible, and even my right eye developed an epicanthal fold It’s not severe, but still. I did the canthoplasty because I hated the epicanthal fold I wonder if my skin quality is the problem too.. And even now, the epicanthoplasty scar is still white One more side effect? haha I originally didn’t have dark circles, but after surgery the inner corner area and under my eyes became dark and patchy, like pigmentation I cover it with aegyo-sal makeup every day.. sob Please please please decide carefully before getting epicanthoplasty You need to fully think about and consider that every side effect can happen to you!!
