I had my first nose surgery with Dr. Lee Jae-jun at Mark Plastic Surgery: open approach + silicone + autologous costal cartilage + foreign material removal + osteotomy + columella lowering + correction of a deviated nose. I was looking for nose surgery review photos, and Mark Plastic Surgery seemed to have pretty lines, so I went for a consultation. The director did not mention unnecessary things and confidently explained only what I needed, so I trusted him, scheduled the surgery right away, and went through with it. Now that I’m 1 month post-op, I’m completely satisfied. Before surgery, I had a bulbous nose and a deviated nose, so from the front, my nose looked too spread out and the bridge was also very low. After surgery, my nose became slimmer and higher. I heard that for a bulbous nose, you have to get surgery at a hospital that is really good at it for the front view to improve, and after surgery, people around me are saying it turned out really well Before surgery, I emphasized to the director that I definitely wanted it to look natural and harmonious with my face, and he did it the way I wanted, so I’m very, very satisfied. I had heard that surgery with autologous costal cartilage causes severe pain and leaves a large scar, but maybe because it was done with a minimal incision, the wound was not that big. After surgery, from days 2-3, the pain noticeably started disappearing, almost surprisingly, so I could live without major discomfort, which was good.
