1. Surgery D-3, the day I booked as soon as I went in for a consultation (15-Oct) - I visited through an acquaintance's introduction (the hospitals and products she had introduced before were all good, so I just trusted her and went; I didn’t have time to separately search hospitals) - I had always been concerned about my square jaw and retruded chin, so I regularly got fillers and Botox, and I was very concerned about my cheekbones too, but I just lived with them because there was nothing I could do ㅠㅠ - The hospital director already seemed to be famous by word of mouth in Gangnam. Since the clinic had just opened, I got a 30% opening discount + acquaintance discount and booked right away. Such a win - (Maybe because it has only been open for 2 months, the clinic name is not on the selection list. If you ask separately, I’ll let you know) - On the day I went for the consultation, both the consultant and director explained everything in great detail and were kind, so I trusted them. The previous procedure cases were also very, very good - I booked the earliest possible date, paid the deposit, had a CT scan + blood test, and went home. I think it took about 2 hours - Ha... it was dynamic. I only came for a consultation, but suddenly I had even made a booking. But if I hadn’t done it this way, I probably would have worried about it for years. I did wellㅎ 2. Surgery D-day (18-Oct) - 11:30 Changed clothes, went to the consultation room, and they showed me the bone structure while looking at the CT results and preoperative photos, and explained in detail how they would design it - 12:30 After asking various questions and receiving instructions, I went off to the operating room. The anesthesiologist came separately, asked several pre-op questions, and proceeded in the order of sedation anesthesia then general anesthesia - I don’t remember anything after that. When I woke up, I was in the recovery room - 15:00 (I think I briefly woke up; this is the time I had sent KakaoTalk to my mom to let her know I was alive) - The surgical areas (the three procedures) didn’t hurt much, but my throat hurt so much. After about 1-2 hours they gave me water, and after drinking it I felt a bit alive. Thinking about it, it was life-saving water.. - Maybe the anesthesia hadn’t worn off, because I couldn’t open my mouth and the water just all flowed out.. dripping.. The operating room nurse held tissue under my mouth and fed me. She was such an angel - The operating room nurse + consultant + director, all three of them took care of every little thing, and I was so grateful. I couldn’t talk, so I couldn’t express it, but I was truly thankful - The hospital closes at 19:00, so I packed my things to go home, but the operating room nurse told me to rest a little more. I teared up and rested a bit more before leaving - I felt a bit better and was discharged. On the way back, I bought something warm in a Vegemil bottle, drank it, took medicine, drank water, gargled, and went to sleep - [Tip] You should keep a humidifier on so your throat hurts a little less. It’s good to drink water once every hour. If not, your throat hurts like crazy. Drink water often!!! NOTE - [Tip] Bring lip gloss. The dryness of the lips is no joke. I brought a multi-balm called KAHI. - I had a bit of a nosebleed. I blocked my nose with tissue for a while and it got better - The day after surgery, I had to check progress and receive post service (laser, swelling injection, etc.), so I didn’t go home. I booked a hotel in advance (The Riverside, around 50,000 won) 3. Surgery D+1 (19-Oct) - 09:00 Rested at the hotel while applying ice packs, had one Vegemil for breakfast, took medicine, and gargled - 11:00 Went to the clinic and received post service: regenerative laser + injections: antibiotic, swelling injection, painkiller - Then they removed the bandage and changed it to a facial compression band (because I live far away, it was difficult to come in the next day, so they removed it a bit early; normally it seems to be removed on D+2) - Anyway, it hurt a bit less than yesterday, and after the injections I felt more okay. The director + consultant + operating room nurse explained and took care of everything from start to finish - Notable symptoms: nosebleed, sore throat, dry lips 4. Surgery D+2 (20-Oct) - Walked for 1 hour, iced once in the morning and once in the evening (with packs provided by the clinic), and ate only pumpkin juice + soy milk for breakfast/lunch/dinner - Swelling at its peak; it’s probably better not to look in the mirror - Notable symptoms: nosebleed, sore throat, phlegm, dry lips, slight headache? (Is it because of the facial compression band?) 5. Surgery D+3 (21-Oct) - today** - Walked for 1 hour, iced in the morning + used a warm compress in the evening, and I feel good because I took my first shower. Thanks to that, the swelling seems to have gone down a bit more - I haven’t taken off the facial compression band even once so far. The swelling has improved a lot but is still very puffy. Maybe it’s because the band gathers my face together? - I’m still eating only pumpkin juice + soy milk for breakfast/lunch/dinner, and I’m also doing well with my medicine + gargling - Notable symptoms: nosebleed, sore throat, phlegm, dry lips. My throat has really improved a lot, and I’m still drinking a lot of water - Tomorrow I plan to visit the hospital, check progress, and have the stitches removed. I’ll try to share how things gradually improve afterward - Now that the hardest 3 days have passed... it’s still hard, but I don’t regret having the surgery. I hope the swelling all goes down and I can see a pretty face shape - I’ll post the next review once more around the weekend~ I received a lot of help from reviews, so I’m sharing this because it may be useful information for someone
