I had only non-incisional sutures done 10 years ago, and as my eyes started drooping, they covered the crease, so I wanted to do it again. I didn’t want anything extremely flashy and wanted to keep my current vibe, and I was planning to go with whatever was recommended, whether non-incisional or incisional. What I wanted was something natural, with the crease slightly visible from the inner corner, and of course absolutely no sausage eyes lol. If possible, I also wanted fat removed from the eyelids, yeah.. And I wanted to leave it to the doctor’s judgment based on what I said, so I didn’t bring separate photos.
ㅍ Consultant-doctor-consultant This is a place where I had previously done a consultation tour and even made a reservation, but after seeing one case, I felt it wasn’t right to have surgery there and canceled lol The waiting area and surgery area were in separate buildings. There weren’t many people in the waiting building, but even though I had an appointment, the wait was really long, so it was tiring.. It took a long time until the consultant consultation, and after the consultant, the wait for the doctor was also extremely long The consultation itself was okay and they were kind. The consultant first held a crease line for me lol (At the time I thought this was normal, but at other places the consultants didn’t hold the line.) When I explained what I wanted, the consultant even recommended incisional surgery, but the doctor didn’t recommend incisional. I liked the line lol I think they charged separately for the inner and upper epicanthoplasty.. There was a discount with the review-writing event price. Maybe because it was a factory-style clinic, it was a bit cheap. The 100,000 won deposit felt a bit pressured,, I thought maybe it was because I decided to have surgery right away, but when I called to cancel, they said I wouldn’t be able to get the event-price discount and told me I should just postpone the surgery date instead. What felt a bit off was that while I was waiting, I didn’t fill out the chart myself; the desk staff asked questions and filled it out for me. But there were other people around, and they openly asked where I had been and whether I had an expected budget, so that felt uncomfortable. +I specified a doctor, but they said that doctor does a lot of flashy styles these days and recommended someone else..
ㄹㅎ Consultant-doctor-consultant I went after seeing reviews in a community and finding a doctor I liked, so it wasn’t the chief director. They took photos. There was a bit of a wait, but it wasn’t long. During the first consultation, the consultant asked what I wanted and talked about possible surgeries the doctor might recommend for it lol During the doctor consultation, the doctor held the line several times and did it carefully. When I said I wanted the crease to be visible from the inner corner, they said my Mongolian fold was strong, so they recommended opening slightly toward the inner and upper area (they counted it as one here) and natural adhesion. I said I wanted to remove eyelid fat, but they said I probably wouldn’t need incisional surgery and didn’t recommend it. They said since the distance up to my eyebrow isn’t wide, it could actually look narrower. And they said my eyes look protruding because of the structure, and that just suturing the eyes wouldn’t make the eyelid fat look greater or anything.. This place also applied the review-event price. But I had to make the reservation by that day, and there was no separate pressure for the deposit.
ㅇㅇㅍ Consultant-doctor-consultant They took photos. No waiting. They held the line with a toothpick. The consultant recommended non-incisional double eyelid surgery and medial epicanthoplasty. The doctor recommended incisional surgery... This was the first doctor who recommended incisional lol I was kind of shocked because I had almost decided on non-incisional. They said my eyelids are quite droopy, so if they just suture them, I might end up with sausage eyes.. They recommended incisional + ptosis correction + canthoplasty. Since it’s definitely a private clinic, it was expensive There was a review-event price. No pressure for a deposit.
ㅇㄴㅋ Consultant-doctor-consultant No photos taken. Almost no waiting. Here too, the doctor recommended incisional surgery.. lololol Just like ㅇㅇㅍ said, they said if I only get sutures, I could get sausage eyes and it could look like it’s sagging down. I was kind of persuaded lol They didn’t recommend canthoplasty.. unexpected They said they could make the crease visible enough with incisional surgery.. Instead, they suggested doing ptosis correction to make my eyes open more clearly. (My eyes don’t look sleepy, but they also don’t open very sharply.) This one was optional lol The consultant was there during the doctor consultation. After it ended, I think I consulted with the consultant for longer. No pressure for a deposit, and the review-event price could be applied. This place was also as expensive as ㅇㅇㅍ lol
I got lazy, so the reviews kept getting shorter lol At all four places, the consultations with both the doctors and consultants were kind and thorough. Since the recommendations are all different, I’m torn I don’t want to visit more places,, and I feel like even if I do, my head will just get more complicated lololol What does everyone think...
