I wanted to have surgery in a way I wouldn’t regret later, so I can confidently say I went around to quite a lot of clinics. Each clinic said different things about one, two, or three procedures. But basically, every clinic brought up the cheekbones in my case, yep. Honestly, I didn’t care whether it was a large clinic or a private clinic, but as I went around, places where I felt, “Ah, they have no sincerity and this is really factory-style,” I removed from my list immediately without even thinking about it. I made sure to look at essentials like whether the director had long experience, and whether it was a place where the director would take responsibility for me until the end, and so on before deciding on surgery. The head director had a lot of experience with facial contouring and examined me thoroughly during the consultation. Rather than a too~~ sharp style, I wanted a slightly rounded U-shaped look, so when I went for consultations, I brought photos of Twice Nayeon unnie lol I wanted a face with a little volume like Nayeon, but I felt it would be a bit burdensome for it to become too full from one surgery, so I thought I could get fat grafting later if it felt lacking. For now, I decided to do just two facial contouring procedures: cheekbones and long-curve jawline.
On the day of surgery, I was really out of it, so I don’t even know how I fell asleep. After surgery, I slept deeply almost like I had half passed out, and I was discharged right away the next day lol Since washing my hair was uncomfortable, for a few days I went to my regular hair salon often and asked them to wash it for me. After taking off the bandage, I think I really worked hard with the compression band. Honestly, at this point maybe my memory has been beautified(?), but there wasn’t anything hugely uncomfortable. But since I couldn’t eat properly, that was a bit.. hard Even though I’m really not the type with much appetite or greed for food, not being able to eat properly was the hardest part... Aside from that, I think it’s manageable lol
Maybe because all the compression and walking paid off, as time passed, the swelling went down quickly, and is it called adhesion? I can see the skin sticking tightly to the bone as that happens. Recently I went and carefully checked even the before-and-after CT scans, and the fixation seemed good and the jawline was clean, so I was relieved lol Honestly, even though only my face shape changed, my image changed completely, so people around me say it’s amazing.... I feel proud every time I look in the mirror too
