Nose Surgery Reviews

Mighty community review

It has been quite a while since I had revision surgery with autologous costal cartilage because my nose was so crooked that it caused me a lot of stress. For a while at first, there was still some swelling, so I thought I should wait a little longer. Now the line has definitely become more natural, and the tip has become slightly more refined. Before, when viewed from the front, my bridge leaned to the side, by about 5–10 degrees to the left? That has been completely corrected, so I am very satisfied. The tip is also much rounder and softer than before, and the defined shape suits my face well. Since it was revision surgery, I thought it would take a long time for the swelling to go down and everything to settle, but in practice, daily life was significantly uncomfortable for only about a week. I was extremely worried because autologous rib cartilage was used, but seeing the scar at the harvest site gradually fade, I think it is okay. A few things I felt: The more complex the revision surgery, the more reassuring it is to choose a place where the director personally checks you even after surgery. Every time I went for a follow-up, the director personally felt my nose and checked its condition, so I rarely had to worry alone. Do not be impatient about the swelling going down, lol. At first I looked in the mirror every day wondering when it would go down, but in the end, time took care of it. People around me also say my nose has become prettier, and these days my nickname is “good vibes girl,” lol. There is still a little residual swelling, but the crookedness has improved well and I like the line, so I am doing better.
