I had ptosis correction, partial-incision double eyelid surgery, and lateral/lower canthoplasty at Eyeline Plastic Surgery near Gangnam-gu Office Station.
Anyone who has been to Eyeline will probably relate, but the clinic is a bit shabby, and the consultant and staff somehow seem a bit intimidating, so men getting their first plastic surgery in particular might feel a little discouraged.
I also felt something was a bit off, but I chose it out of several clinics based solely on the doctor’s experience, the portfolio he showed me during the consultation, and his confidence. Looking back afterward, it seems like a clinic that focuses more on surgery than on hospital interior design, and the staff do answer well if you talk to them or ask questions. (The consultant in particular is quite proactive about trying to give discounts during the price consultation.)
The price is about average. After going around to different clinics, it was neither too expensive nor too cheap.. Actually, it could have been discounted more from that amount, but the discount conditions just didn’t fit me, so please keep that in mind.
They consult on everything from dramatic to natural looks, and for the surgery, I like a natural look, so no one knows I had surgery. (They think I lost weight. My eyes got bigger though lol. That’s how natural it is.)
And strangely, the swelling and recovery are really fast. Even an acquaintance who has had double eyelid surgery, whom I met after one month, asked why my eyes had already settled when it had only been a month.
Separate from whether the double eyelid surgery is successful, they said that if the patient wants later, they will redo the double eyelid line for only the anesthesia fee, so I think a plan where you first get it done naturally and later make the line a little higher could be good too.
Anyway, I recommend it.
