I originally had monolids, then developed a faint double eyelid line, and it’s been about half a year since I had surgery.
My face was originally asymmetrical and my eyes were very uneven, so I used to wear double-eyelid tape on only one side, and my eyelid stretched a bit. I wanted to correct that, so I had surgery with buried-suture double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction, trying to match them as much as possible!
But as you can see in the photos, because of the skin that was already stretched, my right eye has ended up looking weird, like an eye where the swelling hasn’t gone down? In this kind of case, would I need a partial incision..?
+)) After the surgery, the epicanthal fold that used to be mild got really severe, so I’m stressed. The area under my eyes looks hollow along with it too.. Should I ask them to loosen/remove the ptosis correction sutures for this? I’m curious why this happens.
I’ve already requested AS at the original clinic, so I think I’ll go back for another consultation, but I still thought it would be good to know what I should do and what kinds of methods there are!
If anyone has had a similar case or knows anything, please leave even a short comment
