Over ten years ago, in my mid-20s, I had epicanthoplasty + double eyelid surgery together with the buried-suture method For about ten years, I lived with a shape I really liked, but for the past 2-3 years, when I take photos, one eye comes out looking distorted.
On top of that, recently I felt a foreign-body sensation in my eye and went to an ophthalmology clinic, and they asked if I’d had double eyelid surgery, saying the thread tied during the buried-suture double eyelid surgery was continuously irritating my eyeball, and they removed the thread. They said it happens from time to time.
Anyway, because of that, one side changed into an inner double eyelid exactly like my pre-surgery eye, so I immediately decided on surgery.
When I was in my 20s, I had plenty of time and energy, so I thought through checklists and hospital lists and went to several places, but now my stamina can’t keep up, so after doing a lot of online research, I went to just one place, Hani Plastic Surgery.
I had the consultation in the order of consultant - Director Choi Jung-hoon, and the director confidently told me that the eye shape I was talking about is the type of eyes he does best and that it would come out pretty, so I paid the deposit that day, scheduled the surgery date, and left
