It’s already been 4 months since my revision rhinoplasty!!
For my first nose surgery, I didn’t research much and got it done at a place recommended by a friend, but it was a complete failure..
From the beginning, I didn’t like the nose tip, and over time it kept drooping more
My first surgery used silicone, ear cartilage, and septal cartilage. For this revision rhinoplasty, I used autologous costal cartilage, and only increased the silicone by 1 mm, so I switched to 3 mm silicone!
Anyway, after a successful revision rhinoplasty, what I learned is that you absolutely!!!!! have to go to a director whose aesthetic sense matches yours
If you ask a director who likes an ornate look for something natural, it’ll probably come out semi-glamorous, right?? Absolutely not!!!!!
If you ask a director who specializes in natural results for something ornate, it’ll probably come out semi-glamorous, right?? Nope, not at all!!!!
If you look at reviews for each doctor, they all seem to have their own signature shape! But you can’t really see that when you’re just skimming through reviews
When I was researching revision surgery I think I went through every single photo one by one, trying to analyze what kind of line that doctor preferred!!
If I had studied for exams like that, I probably would’ve gotten into Seoul National University
You need to gather the nose lines and photos you want and narrow down the clinics based on that
And if something goes wrong after surgery, I also looked a lot into how the clinic responds Whether they handle things responsibly is really important!! I didn’t know that when I had my first surgery, but when I looked into revision surgery, I definitely started thinking that this was important too.....
It’s been 4 months now, and because I chose my clinic using my own checklist and had the surgery there, I’m satisfied, and even people around me are asking where it was done, even acquaintances through acquaintances across bridges!
I really hope the directors work less and earn more For anyone looking into surgery, definitely!!!! Find a director whose aesthetic sense matches yours and go do it!!
