This is a review of revision nose surgery. The first photo is before surgery, and the second photo is at one month post-op.
Since I was young, my droopy nasal tip was a complex, and I had surgery once about 15 years ago. (I was young, so I didn’t really understand what type of surgery it was, and I don’t remember well..) The first surgery improved it compared to before, but the long columella remained as it was, so I still had a long nose + droopy-tip shape. (If anything, the columella looked more prominent than before surgery.) This time, after deciding on revision surgery, I searched for information on YouTube, and the director’s videos at one clinic were the most detailed and included surgical cases in the style I wanted, so I had an in-person consultation. More than anything, I also chose it because they specialize only in noses! I wanted to improve only the shape of the nasal tip without it looking obvious that I had surgery, and during the in-person consultation, they understood exactly what I wanted, took a CT scan right away, and explained in detail the realistically possible surgical methods, so I decided to proceed there without going to other clinics.
I used septal cartilage to reduce the columella area + adjust the nasal tip angle, and it came out in the shape I wanted from the beginning, so I’m very, very satisfied. Once the nasal tip improved, my mouth also looked less protruding from the side profile. Naturalness was the most important thing to me, and people around me don’t know I had nose surgery unless I tell them, and I often hear that I look younger. A lot of people also ask me to introduce them to the clinic. (+ Looking at the CT, my nose was deviated, so I also had deviated septum surgery together, and now that about a month has passed, I can breathe much more refreshingly than before.)
I was a little worried because I proceeded right away at the first clinic I consulted, but I think I really made a good choice!
