Before/after Hello! This is my 2-week post-op review after pin removal! About 2 years ago, I had chin tip contouring surgery at another clinic. I had no plans to get pin removal surgery, but I felt a slight foreign-body sensation, and seeing the pins show up when getting CT scans also felt burdensome, so I had the pins removed! I asked the clinic where I originally had surgery, but the price range was too high, so while looking around after seeing Babitalk, I saw reviews for The Standard of Facial Contouring, felt it was trustworthy, and since they happened to be running an event, the price was not burdensome, so I chose the clinic. There were no additional charges at all! hahaha The surgery time was very short, around 5-10 minutes, and including recovery time after surgery, I think it took about 1 hour to 1 hour and a half.
Since an incision had to be made again, of course there couldn't be no pain at all, but it was much less than facial contouring surgery. Only the area near the incision felt slightly stiff, and that was it. Other than a little anesthesia still lingering, there was no major discomfort, so like other people's reviews, I was able to return to daily life from the day of surgery haha. On the first day, there was almost no swelling, and from day 2 it became firm and swollen until around day 4. I did ice compresses and walked, and the major swelling all went down within a week. Even when I say major swelling, it did not swell as much as when I had facial contouring; it was about 20% of the facial contouring swelling. After removing the pins, I no longer feel the foreign-body sensation I used to feel, and I don't feel burdened about CT scans either! Seeing a CT without pins after surgery feels so relieving If you're considering pin removal, don't put it off and get a consultation at a facial contouring clinic. The director's skills are good, and the consultant and all the clinic staff were so kind that I felt good during the consultation and wasn't scared before surgery! If you're considering pin removal, I recommend it!!
