When I told them the material and feel I wanted, they prioritized looking at those points. They personally assessed the current condition of my nose in quite specific detail and explained how the surgical method would proceed, so I was satisfied. They told me in advance what the limitations would be to some extent, which gave me a chance to think about it more seriously.
