After receiving a referral letter from a local ophthalmology clinic, I heard that there is also an oculoplastic department within the ophthalmology department at university hospitals, so I made an appointment.
While making appointments, I checked available dates at Seoul National University Hospital, Samsung Medical Center, and Asan Medical Center. Asan Medical Center had the earliest date, so I visited Asan Medical Center.
I went to see an oculoplastic doctor at Asan Medical Center and had a consultation, but I was told that their clinic had never performed this surgery before and therefore could not operate on me, and they added that I was recommended to go to Seoul National University Hospital for consultation.
In the end, the conclusion is that even if the appointment date is late, I have no choice but to go to a university hospital..
Finally, today is my appointment day at Seoul National University Hospital. I’ll write down the doctor’s opinion after the consultation.. The diary will continue until the side effects are fully cured,,
