Day of surgery - Wow, it hurts. I guess I’m not one of the painless ones. Still, it’s bearable.
Day 1 - It felt like I could feel every single place where the chest muscles had torn? It was stinging, painful, throbbing, and just hurt so much all day. I only kept thinking that I wanted to at least fall asleep so time would pass quickly. I couldn’t tell whether my chest was tightening, swelling, or what, so I called the emergency line and took off the bandage!
Day 2 - For some reason, it was much better than day 1, so I brushed my teeth and washed my face. Still, it hurts like hell. People say being pain-free depends on the person, but honestly it all felt like lies.
Day 3 - Now I can finally live a little. Or maybe I’m just getting used to the pain! Since the pain has eased, I finally started being able to eat a little. Staying at home made my head hurt so much, so I went to the cafe in front of my house and had a coffee. It definitely seems better.
That’s my review up to today.
