Before-before-after or... When I was in middle school, I had natural adhesion double eyelid surgery, and the double folds got really bad, so I had revision surgery with an incision. I visited about 4 clinics, but I don’t remember well. When I was tired or lost weight, double folds would appear. Usually my eyes were my original eyes, so I ended up doing the incision, and because my ptosis was severe, I also had ptosis correction. Other clinics all recommended fat grafting above the eyes. But this clinic said it seemed like lowering the eye fat would work, so I felt that seemed better and was drawn to them. But then they recommended upper canthoplasty. They said I had to do upper canthoplasty to raise the line a little more from my original line. My original line is an in-out line. But I didn’t really know much about upper canthoplasty, and they said it was needed to correct my asymmetrical eyes, so I thought of it as my last surgery and decided to just do it. But honestly, except for the double folds, I really liked my eyes, you know? But the upper canthoplasty scar is this bad. I kept thinking it would be okay once the swelling went down, it would be okay, and because I was busy I couldn’t even go for follow-up, but I’m going next week. I made a follow-up appointment. If I wait until 6 months, will the scar disappear? I’m very satisfied with everything else. But everyone, really don’t do upper canthoplasty carelessly. For upper canthoplasty, epicanthoplasty or anything else isn’t the issue. I think canthoplasty really has to be considered carefully. The 1st is my original eye, the 2nd is when the double fold appears, and the 3rd is now.. I think the clinic needs to do something to fix it.
