I'm writing this because I got bored while working. Day of surgery: Even until the day before surgery, it didn't feel real and I was just there without any thoughts or preparation. It first felt real when I disinfected my mouth with Hexa and changed clothes. Lying on the operating table without being mentally prepared made me so nervous, and I thought, are we really doing surgery like this right now? I almost started hyperventilating a little. (That's how I usually am...) The teachers calmed me down, telling me to breathe deeply and slowly, and with the words that I would start feeling dazed, I came to when I heard someone waking me up. A male staff member lifted me up and put me in a wheelchair, and I was moved straight to the recovery room.. Rather than pain, I felt out of it because of the pressure on my face. But I'm originally someone who wakes up quickly even after anesthesia, so in less than 5 minutes I started using my phone.... I sat there watching I Live Alone, heard the next patient going into surgery, and the nurses came by from time to time to check v/s. Everything was normal. spo2 was fine too, so I took off the mask quickly. After that, the hardest part was my throat hurting because of general anesthesia. I couldn't drink water for a long time even after it was over.. whew Because a lot of IV fluids went in, I went to the bathroom really often.. I went by myself very bravely After that, I just waited for bedtime while getting painkillers, but I'm someone who has insomnia even normally, so I barely slept all night... Still, the doctor on duty was so kind and cared for me well all night.
Day 2: I wasn't extremely hungry, but since I had been fasting for the second day, I really just wanted to go home quickly and eat anything. At 10, the director came and removed the drain. Maybe because I was so nervous or because of the anesthesia, I felt like I was going to throw up, so I told them and they checked my pulse, had me lie down, and calmed me down, so it ended safely. As I said above, I only brought my phone charger and didn't bring a bucket hat, hoodie, or anything, so I just took a taxi.... my money... But the compression band was wrapped like a bandage anyway, so a hat or mask probably would have been useless. I recommend just getting your medicine and taking a taxi quickly... Anyway, I came home and just waited until 2.. I had fasted since the day before surgery, and I was starving until the afternoon of day 2.. Right at 2, I ordered porridge and ate the whole serving with a baby spoon After that, I brushed my teeth and took medicine. At the pharmacy, I also bought Elas A and took it for a week, and now I've switched to Newvein and swelling tea.! Maybe because of that, I think I don't have much swelling!
Day 3~: Since I took swelling medicine, even though I'm someone who sleeps cold with the air conditioner on, I was sweating a lot + peeing nonstop I think I woke up every 3 hours to go to the bathroom? And as I said, I'm originally not a good sleeper, so I just slept with 2 pillows... For walks, I think I averaged about 5,000 steps a day. I didn't do that much... It's so hot I'm dying.. Everyone, get surgery in winter,,,, The hospital compression band was too noticeable, so when I went outside I bought a small black compression band from Coupang and walked with a hat + mask. I think it would be good for everyone to buy one!
After that it's just a repetitive daily routine, so nothing special! With walking + swelling medicine, my family said the swelling was going down day by day! It's still steadily going down! There is still a lot of swelling, but my face has definitely gotten smaller Right now I have a little candy-like swelling and quite a lot of swelling under my chin. It's hard swelling So I'm trying to do warm compresses often.. For food, I'm eating everything except what I can't eat Meat, Vietnamese spring rolls, ramen... chicken.. Good children, don't follow me Because of the holiday, I still haven't had my stitches removed, but I just brush my teeth too Coupang has children's toothbrushes in the 1,000-won range! Recommended! People around me also say it turned out so well, and after seeing mine, they say they want to do it too I also think I should have done it when I was even one year younger instead of spending time worrying! Right now my right jaw feels numb and tingly, but it's not a major inconvenience in daily life, and I just want the swelling to hurry up and go down completely so I can do full makeup and go out to have fun~ And take lots of photos~ I'll try uploading photos within a few days~
