People often say that when it comes to revision eyelid surgery, sausage eyelids are the most difficult case, and after my first surgery my eyes were exactly in that state. At first, I was honestly completely at a loss and was having a really hard time emotionally too. Maybe because of that, even when I went around for consultations at places famous for revision surgery, none of them really drew me in. In the end, thinking this would be the last try, I went to a place recommended by an acquaintance and ended up having surgery with the head doctor. They didn’t just blindly recommend double-line excision because I had sausage eyelids; before starting the consultation in earnest, they checked what condition my eyes were in, reflected my opinion, and then added the doctor’s assessment. So I ended up getting revision surgery including ptosis correction. Unlike what I had thought, that revision would be difficult because it was a hard case, my eyes have now been corrected cleanly and well.
