Real rhinoplasty review.. The reason I came back to this community after a long time is because I was looking into nose implant removal, and one thing led to another and I ended up here. The surgery itself turned out really well. People seeing me for the first time all say I look like a celebrity or influencer, and they all compliment me, saying I’m pretty. People who are interested in rhinoplasty all ask where I had it done. From my own point of view, I don’t think it turned out that amazingly, but judging by people’s reactions, I do think it was successful for a first surgery.
But why am I looking into removal? First of all, I’m scared of side effects from the implant, and before surgery my nostrils weren’t uneven, but after surgery they became uneven. (But it’s probably not noticeable to others, so I think that’s why everyone compliments me and says it’s pretty.) Also, my nasal bridge was originally on the higher side, but because I had a hump nose, they only put in about 0.5 mm or 1 mm. Someone around me who had rhinoplasty said if I was going to do it, I should do it properly and definitely put in silicone, so I went ahead and had that tiny silicone implant inserted after unnecessarily shaving down my nasal bridge. So the nasal bridge itself, whether from the side or front, isn’t that different from before surgery. If anything, it became a little lower. But because they lifted my drooping nasal tip, I feel like I’ve been told I resemble almost every celebrity with a pretty side profile.. But I just feel anxious. My roommate also developed nasal contracture. Most celebrities who had rhinoplasty also developed contracture. I don’t have as much money as they do, and I don’t have that much time either. And contracture can happen over time because of an inflammatory reaction, or it can suddenly happen to anyone simply because it’s a foreign material, like bad luck in a draw, so I’m really scared.
I’m not going to have revision surgery, and I just want to remove the silicone, but I heard that removing only the silicone doesn’t mean inflammation won’t happen, so I’m extremely worried. For a first surgery, I really paid a lot, and I don’t know why I spent the money, time, and went through all that suffering. Honestly, before doing my nose, my natural face was much more charming, and I liked that I didn’t get called an obviously plastic-surgery beauty..
If everyone’s own nose is just a little lacking and you’re thinking of surgery because you want to become just a little prettier, I want to discourage it. It definitely reduces naturalness, so even elsewhere you may be called plastic-looking, and if you worry about side effects, you really can’t even sleep comfortably. I truly don’t think surgery is something to do just because you want to become a tiny bit prettier. Some people may think, “The surgery turned out well, so why are you worrying for nothing?” But after surgery, I searched for side effects. Nasal contracture, inflammatory reactions. I regret so much that I didn’t search before surgery. Unless your nose is really, really extremely unattractive, I want to advise you to spend money on skin care, clothes, or hairstyles instead. Posts like this won’t be popular anyway and probably won’t get through to anyone, though..
