5-6 Years After Double Eyelid Surgery

<Day of surgery~1 month><As of 2021> To meet the level-up requirements, I’m going to write a review of my double eyelid surgery from 5-6 years ago! When I went around to about 5 plastic surgery clinics in the provinces, 3 of them recommended ptosis correction, and the others recommended double eyelid surgery plus medial and lateral canthoplasty. I wasn’t particularly drawn to any of the five, and then I went for a consultation at a clinic that an acquaintance of an acquaintance had supposedly gone to. Unlike the other places, they actually advised against double eyelid surgery, and for some reason I was intrigued, so I only booked medial and lateral canthoplasty and set the surgery date. On the day of surgery, I met the doctor for the first time, and what he said was that medial/lateral canthoplasty wasn’t the issue, and it would probably be better to first tidy up the wrinkles forming above my eyes So I suddenly ended up getting double eyelid surgery. At first I wanted an in-out line, but when I came to my senses, it was an outfold line. Maybe because I had it done with the buried-suture method, if I don’t say anything, no one knows I had double eyelid surgery. I’ve lived satisfied with it until now, but the line has gradually become thinner, so when I open my eyes wide it doesn’t show well, so I’ve been walking around with my eyes only half open, and because deep-set eyelids run in my family, my eyelids are getting hollowed out, making my eyes look so tired, which worries me I’m wondering whether I should get fat grafting later or whether I should get revision surgery because I want double eyelids that are a bit more noticeable and glamorous..
