I had surgery in 2019 at ㅈㅇㅈㅇ using the natural adhesion method.
At the time, they said that without canthoplasty, the double eyelid might not come out the way I wanted, so I had upper epicanthoplasty done as well. I liked it at first, but looking at it now, the exposure of the lacrimal caruncle feels quite bothersome.
It is true that if you have an epicanthal fold, it can be difficult to create the double eyelid properly, but if you are going to have canthoplasty, I recommend asking them to make the opening as unnoticeable as possible.
Also, my eye hollows are somewhat developed, so my eyes are slightly sunken. In cases like this, unless the double eyelid is fairly thick, the thickness decreases quite a lot as the swelling goes down.
I think I liked mine the most right at the two-month mark, and now it does look natural, but it feels like the double eyelid was set too low.
But if I just set it higher without thinking, the distance between my eyebrows and eyes would become narrower and my impression would look strong, so I am considering a forehead-eyebrow lift.
