It looked like the nasal tip material I used before had collapsed and created a step-off, so I was so stressed.. On top of that, the nasal bridge was already too slim, but the nostril wings didn't look reduced at all and looked broad.. No matter how I thought about it, since the nasal bridge was slim, the nostril wings should have become slim accordingly too, but my nose looked like this even after surgery;;
What's really funny is when I see other people here after their nose surgeries, they say things like "I don't need contour shading~" "My bulbous nose is all fixed~" but for me lol even after spending several million won on rhinoplasty, nose contour shading was essential.. Even the width of my nostrils was too large. If someone saw it, they would never think it was a surgically operated nose; instead, they'd say things like, is it a dragon nose, is it a hump nose, to the point that my nose looked so ugly..
I originally planned to do the revision surgery quickly. But looking into it was hard, and maybe I should call it a bit of lethargy; because of the depressed feeling that my rhinoplasty had failed, the process of gathering myself to find reviews and go around to consultations felt a bit overwhelming for me.
In the meantime, I came across a clinic that was mentioned a lot as specializing in revision rhinoplasty, so I went for a consultation. The director was very chic lol (I don't mean rude, impolite, or that they looked carelessly). While carefully checking this and that, they pointed out only the important points and explained them. Looking at my nose, they said it was a nose that needed nostril wing reduction from the beginning.. My nostril wings were on the wide side, and my skin was soft, so it wasn't an issue that could be solved just by lifting it...!
They also said it would be better to make the nasal bridge higher, because that would suit my facial image, so I raised the silicone more, and I also had nostril wing reduction done.. Unlike the clinic where I had my first rhinoplasty, they cared about the overall proportions of my face and explained what nose shape they would make, so I liked that I could understand, "Ah, this is what surgery I'm going to receive, and this is how the result will turn out."
At first I wanted something a bit natural, but while preparing for revision surgery, I realized, just as the director said, that my face suits a slightly more glamorous nose, haha. I don't regret getting revision rhinoplasty here. I think I understand why everyone considers whether a place is "specialized" when going around for consultations.
I realized once again that just because a place gives kind consultations and talks a lot about various things, it doesn't mean they are good at surgery.. You really need to go to a clinic that points out only the truly important points and talks only about what is necessary I think meeting an ethical director is really important.. How do you tell that kind of director apart? You have to search for many reviews and go to consultations in person.. There's really no other way So that means seeing just 3 or 4 places isn't enough..
For revision surgery, in order to get surgery without regrets..!! I hope you study a lot, search broadly, and can wisely decide on a clinic. I'm really cheering you on. Thank you for reading.
