In the winter of my second year of high school, I got double eyelid surgery, incisional epicanthoplasty, and eye correction at a clinic my mom’s acquaintance worked at, without looking into anything at all, and I was extremely satisfied at first (my eyes were very narrow and uneven to begin with, so after the double eyelid surgery it really felt like I could see the world properly, and I became much more confident). When I went for the consultation, I honestly knew nothing, so I accepted everything the coordinator suggested, and when I met with the surgeon, it didn’t take long and I just picked a date and went ahead. Then two years later, the left eye loosened a bit too (even though it was done with an incision, it still loosened up ㅠㅠ), and scar tissue formed on the right eye, so I got revision surgery for free from the same surgeon (the coordinator said, "Then after the revision surgery, all that’s left is nose surgery" lol). During the consultation I only mentioned that the left eye had loosened, but after looking at my right eye too, they re-established the line above the scar tissue and proceeded that way. Since I already had very uneven eyes to begin with, they’re still a bit uneven, and I do like the left eye more, but considering I went in without shopping around at all and had the surgery knowing basically nothing, I’m very satisfied. Still, I do regret that maybe I would have gotten a better result if I had researched more ㅠ I joined this community while looking into nose surgery, and when I searched the hospital where I had my surgery, it wasn’t particularly famous (for either good or bad reasons), so I think it was just average.
