After removing the splint, my nose was much higher than I expected, so I was really shocked. The doctor clearly said there was a limit because of my skin, so honestly... I didn’t expect much, but it’s more defined than I thought and it doesn’t look upturned either It’s still week 1, so it does look a bit swollen, but once the swelling goes down, I think it’ll be a more natural-glamorous style. How does it look??
The scar is still a bit visible, and the areas where my skin is weak look somewhat red, but I can cover it to some extent with makeup, so I don’t think it interferes much with daily life. After surgery, the nasal congestion and swelling were severe, so it was really hard, but now that time has passed, I feel like I can live again.
I had autologous costal cartilage taken from the front, so that area still has stitches, but it’s not extremely painful, just a bit of pulling when I get up or lie down? There’s still something like a silicone plate inside my nose, and because my skin is weak, we decided to remove it next week. I still have some recovery left, but I really wanted to show it off..
Before surgery, as you can see, my nasal bridge was very low, and my nasal tip was also low, but my nostrils looked upturned and the symmetry was off too. So I was told the surgery would be very difficult, but fortunately it went well, and after surgery, as you can see, the swelling was severe and I thought recovery would take a long time, but luckily after a week it has improved a lot.
