I had incisional double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty, and posterior lower canthoplasty!! My original eye shape was a real complex for me, and makeup couldn’t cover it well so I decided on double eyelid surgery. I wanted to do it quickly when I had time, so I went around for consultations here and there, and among them, Director Ollo had the same direction I was pursuing (naturalness), and the aftercare was the most thorough, so I decided on this place. But apart from deciding on the clinic, even when I went for a second consultation, I was still a bit unsure about the posterior lower canthoplasty... (I hadn’t thought about it when I went for the consultation, but it was recommended. Still, they gave logical reasons, so I did lean toward it.) They said it was okay to postpone the decision until the day of surgery, so I was grateful. There was no excessive recommendation at all, and I felt that they valued my opinion.
On the day itself, I went in extremely nervous, but after sleep anesthesia I fell deeply asleep, and even after waking up I was half-asleep, so I don’t remember much lol I went alone without a guardian and left alone, so all I remember after the surgery is the manager giving me my medication. Honestly, I was really grateful lol And it was convenient and nice that they separately sent the post-surgery precautions and medication instructions through KakaoTalk afterward.
Until about day 3, if I didn’t take painkillers, the area around my eyes throbbed like I had been hit, but after that it got okay. I think there was sometimes a bit of stinging around the incision area...
The day after surgery, I visited for a progress check, disinfection, and a swelling laser treatment, and after a week, I had the stitches removed. As I had heard during consultation, each time my progress was checked, the director personally took time to see me, so I felt reassured about my condition and trusted them more. But they said the posterior lower canthoplasty was opened a lot, so those stitches should be removed one more week later. It’s only been a week so far, so as time passes, the swelling will go down and it’ll become more natural, right?? My complex has been pretty much resolved, so honestly, I already feel good by myself every time I look in the mirror...
