I went around for consultations thinking this would be my last cosmetic surgery What I’ve learned through all the surgeries and procedures I’ve had so far is that specialty hospitals aren’t specialty hospitals for no reason With that mindset, I did my breast consultation rounds by choosing specialty centers as much as possible, so I visited ㅇㄷ, ㄱㄹ, and ㅇㅇ (ㅇㅇ also does other things, but I was curious because it seemed most famous for breast surgery) To organize each one:
ㅇㅇ (consultation with the designated head surgeon) I went in knowing the doctor specializes in transaxillary incision, but the coordinator kept showing only the scars from good transaxillary cases from the start and seemed to show the inframammary incision scars only when they were really dark, so I started to suspect things a little. But the doctor explained things clearly and, while looking at the ultrasound with me, made the diagnosis, and I thought they looked very experienced and probably skilled at surgery. It was a consultation where I really felt their confidence and pride in using an endoscope 100% of the time.. They recommended Motiva, which has a low capsular contracture rate (they said they had never had a single case of capsular contracture). They measured me, but I didn’t hear details about my chest width or breast pocket separately. Since I don’t have much native tissue, they recommended dual-plane and suggested a full type, 315cc to 335cc, to also fill the upper breast area.
ㅇㄷ (consultation with the designated head surgeon) If you go to Apgujeong Rodeo, there are a lot of hospitals there, and I know this one is a long-established breast surgery clinic among them. It uses an entire building and only does breasts. There are three doctors: one only handles breast screening, and two do surgeries. The head surgeon has the longest career and the most reviews, so I chose the head surgeon. The coordinator was kind enough, but just average. They kept strongly recommending that I make a same-day reservation, so it felt a bit pushy~ Still, once I clearly said no, they didn’t say anything further. They explained everything calmly one by one on an iPad. The doctor had just finished surgery, I guess, because their eyes were extremely bloodshot and they looked tired. They seemed a little sharp, so I was kind of nervous, but as the consultation went on they explained things in quite a lot of detail and spoke in a friendly way, so it was fine. Only, maybe because they spoke fast, it was hard to understand.. This place also recommended Motiva, and said both full and demi types were possible, but the full type would look prettier. If demi, about 320cc; if full, 335cc. Since I’m unmarried, it would be good to remove the accessory breast tissue at the same time through transaxillary incision, and for a first surgery with little native tissue, they recommended transaxillary incision. Dual-plane.
ㄱㄹ (one doctor, no designated consultation) I’d heard for ages that this place was really good at making breasts look natural and like real breasts, so I had already bookmarked it as a place to visit for consultation if I ever got breast surgery later. Compared to other hospitals, there weren’t that many reviews, so I was really curious about the post-op photos, but once I actually went for the consultation, they showed me a ton. All real patients. I think I saw like 100 photos just from the coordinator. They had huge confidence in the hospital’s surgical skill, and they said all the staff doctors have been there a long time, and that the aftercare program is really thorough, patient-centered, and individualized. They said they put a lot of effort into making sure patients have nothing to worry about after surgery. (When I heard that, I got kind of swayed. I said I’d leave a deposit and come back, but the coordinator said I couldn’t do that and told me to think it over more and contact them later, so I couldn’t reserve.) I’d heard the doctor’s consultation would be short, and it really was exactly that. After they pulled up the breast photos taken with the coordinator, measured me, and did a brief check of tissue quality, they recommended Motiva, dual-plane, and 315cc, and that was it. For the incision, they said because the inframammary fold was short, if I wanted a much prettier shape I should choose the inframammary incision rather than the transaxillary incision. When I asked if I could go a bit bigger, they cut me off sharply and said then I wouldn’t get the shape and feel I wanted. I left with my tail between my legs.
All three offered lifetime aftercare, hospitalization was possible at all three, and post-op management seemed to be well organized. I’m not sure whether ㅇㄷ and ㅇㅇ are unlimited, but ㄱㄹ said theirs is unlimited.

Honestly, I’m not sure. As I write, some parts feel like they’re getting beautified, and some parts I may not remember clearly.. I’m planning to think about it more before deciding
If you want to go around for consultations but haven’t yet, I hope this gives you at least a rough idea after reading it
Still, the most important thing is that you have to go yourself and feel it directly, right?
