10 years ago, when I was a high school student, I didn’t know anything and just followed my older sister to a plastic surgery clinic and had my eyes done without thinking. I had epicanthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, lower canthoplasty + double eyelid surgery with the non-incisional buried-suture method, but I had severe Mongolian folds and small “clam-like” eyes where the inner corners were completely closed off, so the doctor did the epicanthoplasty terribly The double eyelids themselves look natural, but… after about 10 years since getting them fixed with the buried-suture method, they definitely loosened, and my two eyes are different sizes. On top of that, because of the canthoplasty scars + sunken under-eyes that make me look hollow + dark circles, my overall impression looked tired, which was stressful. This time, after quitting my job, I finally went for a consultation for revision eye surgery that I’d been wanting for so long.
For now, the surgeries I decided to get are epicanthoplasty restoration, revision double eyelid surgery, lower canthoplasty, under-eye fat repositioning + fat grafting, and dermal graft to the nasal bridge.
Originally I hadn’t thought about my nasal bridge.. but they said if I restore the epicanthoplasty, my face would look too flat So while adding fat to the front cheek area connected to the under-eye, I decided to also get a dermal graft on the nasal bridge!
Since there are a lot of procedures, the quote did come out pretty high, but it’s something I’d been stressed about and wanting to do for years, so I made up my mind, put down the deposit, and now it’s already tomorrow. I’m nervous
