It has been a little over a month since I had buccal fat removal, but the change is not as dramatic as I expected, lol. I had it done because I was very bothered by how bulging the sides of my cheeks looked when I smiled. Immediately after surgery, swelling made my face look even puffier than before, so I almost regretted it T_T The first few days, it was somewhat uncomfortable to open my mouth wide or eat. After about two weeks, the swelling went down quite a bit, and when I took photos, the side contour of my face felt a little more defined. I am especially satisfied that my cheeks protrude less when I smile. However, I do not think it has fully settled yet, so I will keep watching it. People around me only ask whether I have lost weight. It is not a dramatic change like I expected, lol. Since not all cheek fat is buccal fat, I think it is important to confirm that point during the consultation. I cannot unconditionally recommend it; satisfaction will probably vary depending on face shape.
