First, I had incisional double-eyelid surgery with upper inner-corner widening. My original eyes had a lot of fat and pronounced epicanthal folds. I needed to remove the epicanthal folds to create the line I wanted, but since my eyes were not widely spaced, I worried that my eyes might look too close together, so I deliberated a lot over medial canthoplasty. It has been about two years since surgery. The epicanthal folds have disappeared completely, while the double-eyelid line is lower than I originally wanted, but I am reasonably satisfied. If I do not mention that I had double-eyelid surgery, absolutely nobody notices. However, when I first went for a consultation, I had to wait a very long time. I really waited a lot to consult with the doctor. They may have said the surgery schedule had been delayed....
