Eye Surgery Considerations

[Clinic A] review

I went because this clinic is known for removal surgery, and getting an appointment was even harder than at the top three clinics. The consultation went coordinator → director → coordinator. There was a brief consultation with the coordinator, followed by a CT scan. As soon as the director came in, he explained the problems clearly and analyzed them while looking at the CT. At other clinics, they said things like, “Oh, it is not really a problem; this will solve it,” but I liked that he accurately identified the issues I had been thinking about. He gave a thorough analysis and then took questions. He answered every question in detail. As with most removal clinics, if you do not prepare questions, there is not much to gain. Of all the clinics I consulted, he seemed to assess my nose condition the best. He reassured me that returning to my natural nose would not be a major problem, which made me feel relieved. He did not push various recommendations and did not even consider options other than complete removal. The coordinator was kind as well. Since removal is my goal, I am currently putting this clinic first. However, even for removal alone, it was the most expensive place among those I consulted. T_T
