I heard that people often combine cosmetic surgery while having the functional procedure, so I also decided to look at the shape and went for a consultation for functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty. The doctor checked inside my nose first and explained where the airway had narrowed. They said my septum was deviated, causing one side to be more blocked, but that sufficient improvement should be possible. We also discussed changes to the tip and nasal line. They said it could be refined naturally while improving function, and recommended shaping it to suit my current face rather than making an excessive change. I liked this point. The explanations were clear and easy to understand overall. I need to think more about whether to have surgery, but I feel this clinic could handle both the functional and cosmetic aspects well.
