I had inflammation break out before even a year had passed after surgery, so I underwent revision surgery two or three times. Every morning when I opened my eyes, I checked the condition of my nose, and I was so depressed that I spent all night searching this community and crying—it feels like only yesterday. At last I’ve settled on a result, so I’m leaving a review.
Because of the inflammation, my nose had become upturned and the tip was slightly deviated sideways, which was extremely stressful. My midface is also relatively long and my columella hangs down, so when my nose became upturned, my nostrils were very exposed from the front and I felt like I was going crazy every time I looked in the mirror,,,, I didn’t want to raise the bridge any more, though. I wanted a natural line somewhere between a straight line and a slightly curved straight line.
Thinking this would truly be my last surgery, I visited [Clinic A]. Since I chose a non-implant procedure using autologous tissue after removing the implant, I immediately felt much more at ease and less anxious about inflammation. My biggest concerns, the columella and nostril exposure, were corrected appropriately without looking excessive. My midface no longer looked longer, and the bulbous-nose appearance was completely refined. The line came out in the sophisticated style exactly between the straight and slightly curved straight lines I wanted.
Not raising the bridge was the best decision. Even though my tissues must have been badly damaged by the repeated surgeries, seeing everything settle firmly has finally allowed me to sleep comfortably at night,,, It seems to have been organized well, so that’s a relief, right?
