[Clinic A] - Two directors - It was somewhat hectic because there were many waiting patients - I booked a consultation for 2:30 and went, but there was some waiting (I ran to arrive on time, so I felt a little deflated...;) - Consultation with the coordinator, then the director - They recommended incisional double-eyelid surgery plus ptosis correction. - When I asked what would happen without ptosis correction, they said setting the line without it could make my eyes very tired and cause them to droop later. They also said my eyes were slightly weak, so it would be better to do it. - I asked whether the line could be set higher than my naturally thin double-eyelid line, and they said it could be made just a little higher. - After the director’s consultation, the coordinator explained the price and schedule. Conclusion: It seemed similar to what I want, but something did not draw me in.
2. [Clinic B] - This clinic was not originally on my consultation list. On the way to [Clinic A], I thought I should visit one more place since I was already in Seomyeon, searched around, liked it, and went. - I booked by phone while waiting at [Clinic A] and went straight there after the consultation. - The director consulted first and clearly explained the characteristics of my eyes. They said my eyes were slightly deep-set, the bone was close to the eyes, and my skin was thick, so incisional surgery plus ptosis correction would be better. - I asked whether it could be higher than my current double-eyelid line. They redrew the line and showed me what was possible, and I liked it! - I asked about medial canthoplasty. They said there was some inner corner that could be opened, but it was optional. The usual intercanthal distance is 35 mm, while mine is 38 mm, so opening 1 mm on each side would be fine. - I was satisfied with the coordinator’s consultation too. They showed and explained more review photos, and said that because the clinic specializes in revision surgery, the director prefers natural-looking procedures. - It was the clinic I liked most because it offered the natural look I wanted, a line slightly higher than my current one, and professional consultation. Conclusion: Unless something major changes, I think I will probably have surgery at this clinic!
