First of all, the consultation manager was kind and friendly, so while I was considering several hospitals, I ended up choosing this one! When I talked about the areas I was concerned about, they accommodated me reasonably, and even when I changed doctors once in the middle, they kindly adjusted things for me, so I was grateful!
As for the surgery, the doctor is very well-known, so I trusted them with it, and I think it went well. Honestly, I didn’t know I had to keep wearing the compression garment for 7 days, so I had to urgently take a few more days off work, but I had ordered a balaclava in advance and wore it over my head with the compression garment on, so I was able to go outside comfortably too. Because of the band under my chin, I couldn’t open my mouth well, so eating was a bit uncomfortable for a few days. Oh, and because of the anesthesia, I had a sore throat for a few days, and the bio-bond and scar tissue that formed under my chin seem to be getting better as time goes on! They said I can receive radiofrequency treatment starting one month later, so I’m living without much worry!
It’s not a very well-known surgery, so I was worried at first, but the area that had been my complex seems to have improved a lot, so I think I’m glad I did it~! haha
