This winter, after I was discharged from the military, I got the facial contouring surgery I had wanted for a long time haha At first, I booked a consultation and had it. I was planning to do the square jaw and chin, and I was still debating cheekbones, but the director said I would see a lot of effect from cheekbone surgery, so I booked the cheekbones too. I went for the second round of tests, had a blood test and CT scan, got my blood pressure checked and other tests done. Noh Jong Hoon Plastic Surgery is already famous for facial contouring and known for being skilled, so I trusted the director and paid the deposit.. After paying the deposit, as the surgery day got closer, I got kind of scared…ㅠㅠ On the day of surgery, I arrived by 9:30 in the morning, changed clothes, had drawings(?) made on my face, and went into the operating room while hearing the consultant tell me, “Fighting.” I was so nervous I thought the anesthesia might not work well, but I just passed out right away lol When the anesthesia wore off and I woke up, my face was wrapped in a lot of bandages and I was lying in bed lol I was so groggy and out of it, but the consultant and director came in and told me the surgery had gone well. Then I stayed in the hospital for one day and was discharged the next day. Until about days 3-4 after surgery, the swelling really kept getting worse ㅠㅠ It was so bad that I thought acquaintances really wouldn’t recognize me ㅠㅠ Still, the hospital had said swelling is usually severe early on, so I endured it and waited. At first, I had no appetite at all, so I ate porridge just to survive, but as time passed and I watched mukbangs on YouTube and stuff, my appetite gradually increased, so it became hard to hold back lololol Eating porridge every day, drinking the pumpkin juice the hospital gave me, gargling, it was a bit hard in the beginning ㅠㅠ After my first post-op visit to the hospital, where they checked my progress and I received care, the swelling gradually went down haha It went down around my eyes first, so my eye shape returned to my original face, and if I wear a mask, other people can’t tell I had surgery haha At 2 weeks after surgery, I went to the hospital and had the stitches inside my mouth removed. It stung a bit and there was some bleeding too ㅠㅠ Still, after that I could eat regular food haha I went straight home, cooked ramen, cut it with scissors, and ate it. They also said I don’t have to keep wearing the facial compression band all the time anymore, so I go out well now haha It has only been 21 days since surgery, so there is still swelling in the lower area and my cheeks are a bit puffy lol But I can see it gradually going down over time. I can also gradually see my face shape changing, and I want time to pass quickly so I can see how I look once the swelling is completely gone haha
