One-month review after three types of facial contouring
It’s been one month since I had facial contouring surgery. For one week after surgery, I went to the hospital every day to get antibiotics, and from the second week, I’ve been recovering well at home. From the second week, I could meet people, and since the major swelling had all gone down, they didn’t really notice that I had surgery. But if you look closely, there was still yellow bruising around my mouth, so when my boss looked closely at my face and asked, “Did you bump into something?” I was a bit startled... but I just said, “Oh, I just got InMode, haha,” and let it pass. By week 3 and month 1, the bruises and minor swelling gradually went down, and now wherever I go, people say, “Your face seems to have gotten a lot smaller~” so I just answer, “Oh yes~ thank you haha,” and move on.
From the second week after surgery, when I woke up after sleeping, I had some pain in both cheekbones. For about 3 minutes after getting up, it felt like all my facial muscles were contracting tightly and pressing hard on my skull? And my right cheekbone felt like it might protrude a bit, so I immediately contacted the hospital and had a consultation with Director Lee Seung-ryong. The director looked at the CT and kindly told me that the surgery went well and everything was fine, so I felt reassured. After that, I still had slight cheekbone pain from time to time, but after about a month, maybe the bones stabilized, because there’s no more pain!
Even now I hear that my face has gotten much smaller, and they say swelling will continue to go down for up to 1 year and 6 months, so I’m looking forward to seeing how much smaller it will get!
