An acquaintance was next to me, so I wasn’t nervous at all, but after looking at my eyes, he immediately said we should do the surgery, so we didn’t have a long consultation and just did the surgery right away lol It was a long time ago, so I don’t remember exactly, but I think I said I really didn’t want the line to be too high, but I also didn’t want it to be unnoticeable... But he was extremely confident, and my mom next to me liked him too.
First of all, for the before eye photo, I had deleted all my pre-double-eyelid-surgery photos, so I barely found one left on my computer... Even in the before photo, I had actually used double eyelid glue, and it still looked like that.
Honestly, right up until just before going into surgery, I didn’t know what line I was getting. Before entering the operating room, while taking a front-facing photo, he pinched my eyes with a stick and sketched the design. I didn’t even look in the mirror, and as soon as I got the anesthetic injection, I fell asleep. When I woke up, the surgery was all over, just like that lol At first, I was so swollen (seriously, among double eyelid surgery reviews, I haven’t seen anyone who stayed swollen as long or as much as I did... my family was worried too, and being young I cried and prayed that it would come undone) I went to the clinic to complain, got the director’s number, argued, and made all kinds of fuss, but in the end, after about a year, it all went down... An acquaintance who had it done on the same day as me had the swelling go down much faster than I did, so I think I’m just the type who swells a lot. Even now, if I cry, my eyes swell up like right after double eyelid surgery.
Anyway, now nobody knows I had double eyelid surgery, and when I say I did, everyone is shocked. It’s so natural, and as you can tell from the before photo, my impression changed so much... To me, he’s like my second father, but there weren’t any clinic reviews online, and I also hadn’t written one in 4 years, so while requesting a level-up, I’m posting a review...!!! I hope lots of people go there. The director actually said it’s a clinic that doesn’t advertise, so people come by word of mouth, and there probably won’t be anything online. And he told me to give information to my friends too so word of mouth spreads... lol I gave the info to friends who asked about the clinic after seeing my eyes, but maybe because it’s not a flashy plastic surgery clinic, they didn’t actually go there If anyone is thinking about double eyelid surgery, I recommend at least going for a consultation. The director has a very straightforward personality, and his confidence is truly, truly maxed out.
For reference, I didn’t get a proper explanation of the double eyelid method... so I’m not sure, but he said he used dissolvable sutures, and after the double eyelid surgery, there was no separate stitch removal. I think he said there was some method??? that the clinic uses.
