Breast Surgery Reviews

A consultation review I’m writing partly to earn points v

First of all, everyone says to leave two hours between consultations, but I thought that was too long, and the clinics weren’t far apart and I could walk between them, so I scheduled them an hour and a half apart and went! For Note, I designated the chief director, and Glam is a private clinic so I didn’t designate anyone separately!

Glam First impression: The clinic is clean. The lobby is small. The front desk staff are kind. The pink? purple? toned interior is neat. Director: The quiet type. They measured my breasts, checked the tissue quality, and said I should go with Motiva or Mentor Xtra around 300-320 cc. They recommended an inframammary fold incision because it would be much easier to shape. (My sternum protrudes a bit, and they said if I did a transaxillary incision, they would have to insert a camera, and it could catch on the bone.) Consultant: Super kind. And looked so, so young.. lol When she later told me her age, I almost fell backward. She said she had her breast surgery at Glam, and it looked really natural and pretty, so after hearing that, my eyes kept going to the consultant’s breasts.. ( I was really looking with total old-man eyes) Later she even showed them to me herself, and I thought, these are surgically done breasts? I thought if they look this natural, I probably wouldn’t even have to bring it up first to a future boyfriend... lol That’s how natural the U-shape was. I liked that she explained in detail the overall, um, history of breast surgery.. the pros and cons of the surgical methods, what method fits my breasts, what I should do and shouldn’t do! I could really feel that she had a lot of specialized knowledge about breasts, and she spent a long time on the consultation. Consultation fee xx Post-op care: Basic care = 1 year. Additional care is possible afterward. Included in the surgery fee! Other: CCTV viewing is available, no consultation fee, and while I was consulting I saw a few people come in, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. The clinic itself kind of had a “our dear 00” kind of feel!? I felt like they would really take good care of me after surgery.

Note First impression: The clinic is big. There is a separate reception center and a separate breast center, and so on. There are several floors. Maybe the interior was newly done, but it was really pretty, hotel-style. They gave welcome tea and snacks, so I had them. Director: Gentle style. Most implants are possible, but Motiva has a high fill rate and is also a proven implant in terms of safety, so they thought it would be good, and the most standard size seemed to be 320-340 cc. They recommended both transaxillary incision and inframammary fold incision. Consultant: She was a young consultant, kind and cheerful. But whether she had a lot of knowledge about breasts... hmm...?? It felt like I only heard the kind of information you can find in this community? Rather than definitely feeling like she had been in the breast field a lot, she was just the type who talked comfortably without pressure, and I came out after a pleasant consultation. Post-op care: Home-care kit provided, 5 weeks of care. (I didn’t hear anything about monthly scar laser once a month afterward if needed, or unlimited additional post-op care besides that.)  Other: They gave me a small square paper booklet that fits right in one hand, with the diagnosis details, what post-op care includes, precautions, the consultant’s business card, and so on. I thought it was very cute and pretty. (According to the consultant, other clinics started copying this… lol)

Glam had no consultation fee, and Note had a 20,000 won deposit? I think that was a reservation deposit! I didn’t decide on surgery, so I don’t know whether they refund it or what..

If anyone here has anything else they’re curious about, feel free to leave a comment anytime. I may not be able to check often, but I’ll answer as soon as I see it!! Everyone, let’s work hard for pretty boobs,,,
