Before<Before>After<After>Since it was a second revision surgery, I had to be even more careful choosing a clinic, and I wanted to do it somewhere I felt certain about. But even after going to about 7 clinics, I still felt unsure. I even paid a deposit at one place, but canceled the reservation on my way home.
My original nose had the columella set a bit inward, and the nasal tip was drooping, so I only wanted to improve those two things. But at other clinics, they said that to do that, they would have to rebuild everything starting from the silicone implant, (-> major surgery) and another place said that because the existing support structure was sturdy, they could raise the nasal tip more, but lowering the columella was impossible. I couldn’t give up on either of the two, so I thought I’d just visit one or two more clinics, and as my last stop I went to JT Plastic Surgery..
But the director here said that since the existing support structure was sturdy, we could leave it as is, and because my nasal bridge was on the higher side, we could lower the bridge and raise the nasal tip so it would look higher + lowering the columella was also possible.. They weren’t saying it based on some absurd reasoning; they clearly explained the reasons too, and they were full of confidence, so I trusted them. I paid the deposit right away and waited for the surgery date with a relieved? feeling.
As a result, the nasal bridge was lowered, but rather, by making the bridge look higher, my nose looks much more defined and sharp than before, so I really like it. And the columella, which I was most concerned about, was also lowered, so it doesn’t feel like an upturned? nose. There is still swelling at the nasal tip, so the transition between the bridge and the tip is slightly awkward, but I’m still very satisfied..
