The importance of columella lowering in revision rhinoplasty

Hehehe, back when I really didn’t know much about nose surgery... no, about cosmetic surgery in general ㅠ When I see people who succeeded with their first surgery, I honestly feel so jealous too lol

Without knowing anything, I only raised my nasal bridge and nasal tip,

and it wasn’t low... but I felt like it wasn’t pretty either,

so I got revision rhinoplasty lol It’s been about 10 months now~ I used autologous costal cartilage, had the implant in my nasal bridge replaced, had osteotomy done as well, and additionally had columella lowering too~

Columella lowering... honestly, during the consultation I wondered what difference it would even make... whether it would be effective... I had thoughts like that lol, but once I actually got it done,

the feeling of the high front part of the nasal tip and the columella area supporting it... I feel like I’ve personally realized that it’s the highlight of rhinoplasty ㅠ

After columella lowering, the overall feel of my nasal tip itself changed so much,

my nose used to feel like it was missing a few percent of something, but with revision rhinoplasty I feel like that missing percentage was filled in,

so I’m still living with very high satisfaction even now~

Everyone, definitely keep columella lowering in mind at least once~!
