I went through an acquaintance’s recommendation, and the consultant and doctor were kind, it didn’t feel like a factory-style clinic, and the reviews were good, so I trusted them and had the surgery. I didn’t have much fat originally, but it bothered me so much, and they made it sound simple and like there were no side effects at all, so I had the surgery without worrying.
After the swelling went down, I developed under-eye hollowness and dark circles, so I looked it up and found they are representative side effects, and they say Encore laser is closer to fat removal.. Why didn’t they tell me things like this… I would have been more careful. I would have gone somewhere that didn’t use laser. I should have just had lower blepharoplasty at a hospital with a long track record…
I plan to see how the hospital responds, and I’m praying that it gradually gets better. I keep looking only in the mirror, and I never thought something like this would happen to me.
