I was recommended silicone for the nasal bridge, and septal cartilage plus ear cartilage for the nasal tip. Maybe because my nose itself is large, I looked at the CT scan, and they said the septal cartilage itself was large, so the nasal tip could be done with septal cartilage and ear cartilage.
They said it wasn’t a thick-skinned bulbous nose, so the before-and-after difference would be big. They mentioned a deviated septum because the inside of my nose itself is crooked, and said that after checking with the insurance company, 80-90% could be reimbursed.
It was good that they could also check whether there were any functional problems, and although many places don’t look at CT for a first nose surgery, since they looked at the CT too, it felt like more detailed diagnosis was possible.
