(I’m posting again in polite speech!)
I had facial liposuction twice and fat grafting twice. When I was a student with no money, I looked for a cheap place and had liposuction on my double chin and cheeks.
Then one month, two months passed, and because too much had been suctioned out, my cheeks lost elasticity, and the middle of my cheek started to become indented in a long line;
When I slightly tensed up and made a tight-lipped expression, my cheek would just split... So I told that clinic and received after-service treatment.
My left cheek had originally been slimmer, but I don’t know if they suctioned more from the left cheek during surgery, the left cheek split especially badly, so I had fat grafting only on the left side.
But if they marked the split area while I was sitting, when I lay down during surgery, they should have considered that the cheek would shift downward, but they just grafted fat into the area where the position had changed while I was lying down, so they grafted fat into some random area that already had fullness, not the split area haha Now the split area has ended up becoming even more prominent,, After surgery, as the swelling goes down, I should have been able to see the recovery process, but instead of recovering, it got worse.
Eventually I got extremely, extremely stressed and told my parents, and with my parents’ support, I looked for clinics,, The price was a bit high, but I found the clinic whose before-and-after results I liked the most.
The director confidently said he could fix my botched liposuction, and said the slightly deficient areas in my current face could likely be addressed together, so I proceeded with surgery. I remember the surgery being up to a second round, but it’s a little hazy,, it might have gone up to a third round;; And from the second round onward, they used fat that had been harvested before, not fresh fat. (I’m not recommending not using fresh fat!)
Also, when the first clinic did liposuction, they only suctioned the area right under the chin, so at the second clinic, during the first round, I also had liposuction on the chubby chin fat that kept being pinched below the ears. So in total I had liposuction twice and fat grafting twiceㅠ
To say only the conclusion, the part botched by the first surgery could not be fixed. My left cheek is still bulging. When I smile, it splits;; Originally my right cheek was fleshier, but now my left cheek is much fleshier;
But the fat grafting at the second clinic did save my overall face,, My face had a slightly gaunt look. I think it was because my temples and lateral cheeks were sunken, and they filled the temples nicely, and filled the under-eye hollows, so it became just right to look at.
I intentionally didn’t fill the lateral cheeks because I didn’t want to touch my cheeks anymore, so I told them not to touch the cheek areaㅜ I didn’t want to keep rummaging through it with more surgery..ㅠ Anyway, my face was uneven, but it improved a lot after surgery at the second clinic..
Now I’m looking into a third surgery to remove the fat that was put in incorrectly,, I’m going around for consultations only at clinics that specialize in side effects from fillers or fat grafting.
This isn’t an amazing review, but chin liposuction was my first cosmetic surgery, and I had thought it was nothing major because it wasn’t a surgery involving a scalpel like eyes or nose surgery, but I realized that was my arrogance,, and I learned that you shouldn’t just go ahead with it because it’s cheap..
For reference, I don’t know what kind of confidence I had, but I had surgery the very same day I had the consultationㅜ And thinking back while writing this, even though I drank water while consulting at the clinic that day, I think the consultant and doctor who proceeded, saying surgery was possible, were really too much haha
Ah, and I had piercings in..? But since it was my first surgery, I didn’t know if they absolutely had to be removed, and when I asked whether it was okay not to remove the piercings, they said it was okay and proceeded with surgery lol (The piercing wasn’t on my ear, and it was an area that would definitely close if removed, so I asked.)
Now that I think about it, every single thing was really bad, but I don’t know what possessed me.. I think I kind of got pressured by the consultant and just kept saying yes, yes, and had the surgery like a pushover,, The chin-under liposuction at the first clinic definitely had an effect. But instead, I was left with a scar about 1 cm long under my chin, so I can’t lift my head in front of others haha (Conclusion: the double chin was removed, but the fat under the ears stayed as it was, and I got a scar right under the chin.)
I’m sure everyone won’t make a foolish choice like me, but just in case, I’m leaving this review for younger people who might not know,, I was a first-year university student at the time too,, sigh
