The consultant and staff were all so kind and lovely,, They helped care for me so much during the consultation, right before surgery, and right after surgery ♡ They adjusted the price as much as possible, and this was the only hospital that told me during consultation whether there was CCTV and that my guardian could check during surgery. It felt like that meant they were that confident.
Day of surgery They said, You must be very nervous, patted my back, and so many staff members came out to help me get ready. I was grateful and also felt a little burdened (in a good way haha. Since it was my first surgery, I didn't really know they would help and care this much, so I thought, wow, they really do this much haha)
Right after surgery They came to the recovery room, talked to me, brought me water, and everyone was warm and kind Thinking about it again, I am grateful haha. They checked all my belongings and took care of them, brought more water if it looked like I was running low, and took good care of me until the end.
>>>>Director<<<< Everyone knows you have to meet the right doctor who will operate on your face, right??!!?! He is truly a master doctor. When I went for consultations, I was asking about long-nose correction / crooked-nose correction. At other hospitals, they would ask what I wanted and only tell me the surgery method that matched exactly that, or focus too much only on long-nose correction and make the nose too high, or say, It looks that way in photos, but when I look at you now, it is not like that! The consultations were all vague. One hospital even said I probably did not need rhinoplasty, so I wondered if I was being too greedy.. But Director Lee Byung-jun gave me the overall impression that the consultation was cheerful and fun. He consulted in a friendly way, first analyzed and explained things about me, then asked why I wanted rhinoplasty. He said, “Your nose is honestly a very pretty nose for your own, but I think I understand the feeling you are talking about.” He described the impression of my nose that I see even better than I could, so I immediately thought, ‘If I have surgery here, it will turn out well.’ [I think it is important that my thoughts and the doctor's thoughts match.] While taking facial asymmetry into account, he suggested correcting the crooked nose without making it look discordant with my facial asymmetry, using a straight-to-slightly-curved line. He said it could look glamorously pretty this way or naturally pretty that way, and because he recommended several designs, I liked that I could think among [various options]. When he set my double-eyelid line, his opinion matched mine, so the consultation went quickly. He said my inner corners were blocked, so a semi-out line would be good, and because medial epicanthoplasty can leave scars, there was no need to do it; he said he would set the line so it would have the effect of medial epicanthoplasty. I did not know he had YouTube, but when I went home and watched it, I could tell he was truly confident in his surgeries and had his own values, so I liked him even more.
When we designed again on the day of surgery, it was a morning surgery, and the doctor had a different atmosphere. Maybe because it was before surgery, he felt more serious..? I think it was because it was the final design, so he had to be careful?! On YouTube, the director said that right before surgery, you need to put the desired design in your head as much as possible and bring it into the operating room for the surgery to go well. He looked once again at the nose photos I wanted (I showed him noses I liked and disliked separately), and he organized things like, You dislike this kind of nose, you like that kind of nose / this is a pretty nose but you dislike it, and so on. For the double eyelids too, before we had only tried setting the line, but this time he considered the size of my eyes and skin tissue, saying my eyes tend to swallow the line a lot so he would set it a bit higher / because my eyes are uneven, the line on this eye will be a bit higher, explaining the details. I was lying in the operating room waiting, and the director came in, covered me again with the blanket, reassured me by saying the surgery would be over soon so I should think of it as sleeping deeply, and I fell asleep..
I think the huge advantage of a one-doctor hospital is that the director oversees care overall. I really recommend it!!!!!!!!! The YouTube is fun too. While agreeing with the comments from people saying they want to see the director but see him through YouTube.. I recommend this hospital..,,, I miss the consultant and staff too.
