One-eye lateral canthoplasty reconstruction (definitely not a full reconstruction, but a surgery to attach only the floating lower eyelid + reconstruct the very slight ㄷ-shape / during the previous consultation, I also said it was reconstruction of an opened canthoplasty) + ptosis correction on one eye + undoing lower canthoplasty
In the photo, the top is right after surgery, and they fixed the ptosis correction strongly on the front line of a semi-out line, so I had it released after just one week.
Even after releasing it, that area is lifted wide open and my old eye shape doesn’t come back. For the lateral reconstruction too, we agreed to keep the tail position of the eye as it was, but for some reason they raised the eye, so it became a small, closed-looking eye with the outer tail really blocked.
They said they would get rid of sanpaku eyes, so they lifted the entire lower eyelid toward the upper eyelid side and fixed it there, so my eyes are extremely uneven.
My current eye is in the second photo, but after the surgery I developed panic disorder, my eyelid area became strange, the line was also set strangely like ㄴ, and at the back of my eye, unbelievably, the exposure of the white part disappeared.
Even with this, the clinic says it’s swelling and a contraction phase, so it’s temporary, and that after six months my original eye shape will be made, but I’m so anxious I feel like I’m going crazy.
Before surgery, they said there would absolutely be no change to my eye shape, and the incisional ptosis correction was something the clinic persuaded me to do..
The clinic says they’ll take good care of aftercare and will do Fraxel laser and light therapy for me, but my eye is my eye, and the price was insanely expensive too. In a case like this, is it reasonable to get a refund?
