Hello. It has been a little over a year since I had double eyelid surgery at an ophthalmology clinic, and even though I was told during a plastic surgery consultation that my eyes didn’t really seem to need it, I had the surgery after hearing that it might be nice to have slightly bigger double eyelids. I’m writing this because I hope anyone who might decide on double eyelid surgery impulsively like I did won’t go down the same path as me. I had inner double eyelids and my eyes weren’t small, but I had this impulsive thoughtㅠㅠㅠ like, wouldn’t my eyes look a bit bigger? Wouldn’t eye makeup suit me better if my double eyelids were bigger? I didn’t really ask the people around me for their opinions and just decided on my own. That’s what I regret.. If I had just removed some fat above my eyes or done the buried suture method, I feel like it could have been reversible, but I had an incision method, so there’s no going back. Thankfully, the double eyelid surgery itself turned out okay. But the simple charm and atmosphere my eyes had before are gone now... And even though a long time has passed, the surgery scar remains very clear when I close my eyes. I’m going to look into whether this can go away with laser treatment..! I’d appreciate it if anyone who knows could leave a comment. If anyone is in a similar situation to me, I think it would be good to ask a few precious people around you for their opinions and make a careful decision. Right now I’m considering rhinoplasty, but I’m being cautious..
