Before<Before>After<After>I had surgery on December 1 last year, and sorry everyone that my review is so late.. (Actually, the fact is no one was waiting for me.. hehe)
First, I don’t remember every detail, but after surgery, the pain.. um.. seriously it ranks in my top 3 pains I’ve experienced (1st breast surgery, 2nd facial contouring, 3rd saying hello to my kneecap in a traffic accident) Especially after it ended, they didn’t give me water for 5 hours, and I almost lost my mind then My throat felt beyond burning, like blood was going to come out (blood actually did come out lol of course it was surgical bleeding)
For my whole face, I could only think that this must be exactly how it would feel if an elephant stepped on it.. like the final pain you feel right before dying.. (Actually I’m a big complainer, so I wrote this from the perspective of someone sensitive to pain like me)
And that pain doesn’t just end in one day. I was basically dead for almost a week.. I think it was over a week, anyway unlike eyes or nose where it hurts for a day or two, this hurts for quite a while, so you have to take care of your mental health! It really feels like being tortured
Also, even though I usually barely swell from other surgeries (I’m the person who didn’t swell at all when I did my eyes and nose…)
I swelled sooooo much. Now to the main point Until about 6 months after surgery? I regretted having it done
My face shape wasn’t very protruding to begin with, and it was even small, so maybe it was because there wasn’t much shaved down.. but seriously it didn’t show at all ㅠㅠㅠ At least my asymmetry improved, I guess. Anyway, I regretted it so much, worrying my face might sag later for nothing
On top of that, if my jawline used to show a bit before, now it didn’t, so my face just felt like it had gained fat.. so I regretted it! But!!!
But strangely, it really started changing from month 7 From then, I could actually see my face had gotten smaller First of all, how should I say it, overall it felt prettier (If eyes and nose are partial, so it just feels like they improved)
I grew out bangs for the first time too And when doing makeup, it’s convenient because I don’t need to apply shading on my face
Thinking about it now, more than anything, I think it was good because I had no side effects at all. Honestly, I think I was most anxious about what if I developed sensory abnormalities..
In conclusion, some people’s swelling goes down and they become prettier around 7-8 months, so I don’t think you need to be too impatient ..!! I’ll bring another review after a few more months!!! I really hope more swelling goes down, but it probably won’t much now, right..? Human desire has no end.. lol
