Writing this consultation review before I forget; it may be disorganized I have a hump nose and drooping nasal tip, I have no complaints about my nasal height, and I prefer no implant
1. ㄴㅇㄷ CT scan O, no consultation fee It was my first consultation, so I was really flustered during it. And I got completely drained by the confident, fast-talking way they intensely pushed(?) through the consultation As soon as they saw my nose, they just hit me with brutal facts, but it was something I had never expected, so I was dazed. They also said my eyes, nose, and mouth were all defined, but personally, maybe the nose could be, but my eyes or mouth are not really like that, so at that moment I thought it was a bit strange
For surgical materials, they said it could be done with only ear cartilage, and if I felt anxious, we could use just a very tiny amount of septal cartilage Regarding side effects, they said there was enough material and that absolutely would not happen The surgical method was to slightly shave the hump, use ear cartilage + septal cartilage to raise the nasal tip, and correct the columella I couldn’t ask whether osteotomy on the sides of the hump would be done
TMI: They put a cotton swab inside my nose and lifted it up, and I flinched because I was worried a booger might come out (since it was my first consultation, there was a lot I didn’t know..)
They consulted while showing photos of cases similar to mine, so it was really good for understanding They said they do 2 surgeries a day and CCTV can be viewed by immediate family only (this is something you can sufficiently know from other reviews too)
The hospital was clean and I thought their aesthetic might match mine well, so I had a good impression of the place, but both the consultant and the director had this intense gleam in their eyes, so it was a bit scary.. so I’m still thinking about it
2. ㅋㅇㅍㄹㅅ Director ㄱㅅㅇ (consultation fee 10,000 won) There was no CT scan, and in the consultation room they put my hair up with a headband and consulted while touching my nose a lot with their hands. They kept touching it, so later the director’s perfume kept lingering around my nose and gave me a headache I really felt they were professional, and they caught things I hadn’t thought of Plan 1: shave the hump, osteotomy, fill the sunken middle area with donated dermis, and tie the nasal tip with ear cartilage They said they would put in a small amount of donated dermis to fill the indented area, and explained that since it would actually be an extremely small amount, there couldn’t be side effects, there might also be no effect, and it could turn reddish as if blood had gathered there (As for not using autologous dermis, they said, why bother? There’s no need to create a wound for that. Creating a wound is not good anyway, so for this small amount, they said to use donated dermis)
Plan 2: if I like my current nasal height and size, autologous dermis + ear cartilage for the nasal tip
I liked that they suggested up to Plan 2 They also said the opinion could differ from theirs, so they recommended I also consult with Director ㄱㅈㅇ So I booked a consultation with Director ㄱㅈㅇ too The consultant said they would tell me about the event price and things like that after my consultation with Director ㄱㅈㅇ.. The consultant looked a bit busy, even though there weren’t any people, why..? But I’m a bit worried because my aesthetic doesn’t match this hospital’s
