For reference, at that time there was absolutely no recommendation like what additional surgery would be good, or recommending methods like incision versus non-incision. We really only thought about the line together, so it felt like chatting with a friend who knows plastic surgery well; so I think it was to keep me from getting bored while waiting + to briefly organize and write down what I wanted.
The director’s explanation was very clean.. They tried holding a lot of lines and showed me each possible line one by one. They said that because the skin thickness is quite different, my right eye won’t come out 100 percent the way I want, and that we should match the left to the right eye. The left eye is an eye where everything comes out as desired... For the parts I wanted to improve, the director gave me options and clearly told me the pros and cons of each option (this can be improved, but this part can’t be done with buried sutures, etc.), so I worked my brain hard deciding what to give up and what not to give up, and chose the line. (For reference, I like being given options based on medical knowledge and then choosing the best one among the options myself. I like that kind of thing.)
What I wanted also wasn’t to become extremely pretty or anything like that. It was just these two things: I wanted to stop lifting the eyebrow on the droopy-eye side, and I wanted my eyelashes not to be pressed down on the eye with the lower line... Basically, I liked it because the style was natural and not obvious. For the droopy eye + line cleanup (lowering the line from semi-out to in-out), raising the line on the eye with the low double eyelid, and removing the existing thread, that’s what I’ll be doing.
Of course, since I’m human, I got a little greedy in the middle, but the director hahaha, seeing is believing... They just immediately made a double eyelid on my eye and showed me, and after looking in the mirror I gave up right away;
I had already gone around to other places last year and the year before, so today I just booked the surgery. The surgery schedule fit well and I trusted them... I went with my dad (hahaha), and my dad also said he trusts the director..
The review event only gives a 200,000 won discount, and they said the place to post is just the official cafe, with an eye photo + writing one line, so I said I’d do it.
I went from far away, so I was really tired.. I forgot and didn’t ask about AS, but on Monday, they said it would help to ask my previous hospital about the type of thread from the previous surgery, number of stitches, etc. if I want the thread removal, so I’m going to ask about that and then ask the things I couldn’t ask..
