This is my 3-week double eyelid surgery review!

This is my 3-week double eyelid surgery review! My eyes looked sleepy, and when I opened them I usually used my forehead strength to open them (in the before photo, I’m not using forehead strength). I always disliked having sleepy-looking eyes, so I decided to have surgery this time. I spent almost half a year doing both in-person and online research about clinics. First, I excluded clinics with too many doctors. I was worried about things like shadow doctors, and I thought they might feel like factory-style clinics, so I ruled them out. Among several clinics, I chose this place because they specialize only in eyes, have a lot of experience, and gave me a surgical diagnosis that matched what I had in mind. During the consultation, they explained my eye structure in detail, clearly told me why that surgical diagnosis was made, and the consultant didn’t pressure me excessively, so the atmosphere felt even more comfortable. I think that helped with my final choice. The surgery I had was only medial canthoplasty + incisional double eyelid surgery. I think the line was a thin in-out line. The anesthesia was sleep sedation + local anesthesia. I had seen reviews saying that when they suture at the end, the anesthesia can wear off a little and it may hurt, so I was worried, but it didn’t hurt at all, which was such a relief What I liked was that during the surgery, I felt the director was paying a lot of attention. I don’t know how it is elsewhere, but even though the surgical process was so scary and nerve-racking, the director kept talking to me, saying it was going well and that I was getting prettier, which helped me relax!! I didn’t really do special swelling care. I did warm/cold compresses a little, and what I did the most was walk for 2 hours a day. I think sleeping while sitting up for a week helped the most. Maybe because it’s still only week 3, there still seems to be some residual swelling, but to my eyes it looks like it turned out satisfactorily, so I’m very relieved
